Dear MVSC Participant,

Alaska is starting on the long road back to normal and the state recently sent out guidelines for organized sports leagues (https://covid19.alaska.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/05132020-Phase-II-016-Attachment-U-Organized-Sports-and-Recreation-Activities.pdf) . MVSC is still waiting to hear from the school district and Mat-Su Borough about the use of their facilities, but we're cautiously optimistic we'll get the go-ahead to use at least some area fields within the next several weeks.

There *will* be changes to the way we warm-up and play when we are allowed to take the field again. Players will have to follow the facility's and MVSC's mitigation plans, which may include event pre-registration, day-of-event sign-ins, hygiene and sanitation protocols, and adjustments to the laws of the game.

The MVSC board is committed to getting back to playing as soon as it is safe to do so.
